Employee Volunteering
Companies can demonstrate their support for the RBS Caledonian Challenge 2012 and their participating teams through employee volunteering at various points throughout the event. We have a number of volunteer opportunities available:
Registration:
Come and help us on the Friday before the event to prepare the walkers for ‘The Walk of Your Life’. We will require volunteers to guide participants and Support Crews through the Registration process, as well as distributing Goody Bags. We also are looking for volunteers to help us stuff Goody Bags, set up the Registration Hall in the Nevis Centre, and maintain the facilities.
Checkpoints:
Volunteer your services at the Checkpoints and you will be able to cheer on all the participants as they enter and exit the Checkpoint areas. Your extra support and encouragement will allow walkers to pick up that extra bit of motivation and determination as the progress down the course. We also have more functional roles for volunteers to fill, including manning the check-in procedures, directing the support crews in the car parks, and clearing up litter.
Finish:
Come and cheer your colleagues at the Finish Line whilst helping out with running the facilities at the Finish.
