Trailblazer league tables

The purpose of the Trailblazer Competition is to draw together the key elements of the Tennents Caledonian Challenge 2010 in a fun, points-based competition. Points will be awarded for performance in the 3 integral challenges of the event:

  • Physical Challenge - how quickly can each team complete the course.
  • Team Challenge - how well does each team work together, as evidenced by the number of team members to cross the line.
  • Fundraising Challenge - how much has each team raised.

Each team will need to nominate itself into one of our chosen industry sectors and will be placed into a league table along with other teams.

Prizes

will be awarded as follows:

First team

Each member of the team with the most points in each league table as at the Fundraising Deadline, Friday 30th July 2010 will be awarded entry free of charge onto the Caledonian 100 event in October 2010 or one of our Challenges in 2011.

Second team

Each member of the team with second highest number of points in each league table as at the Fundraising Deadline, Friday 30th July 2010  will be offered a 50% discount on the full published entry fee onto the Caledonian 100 event in October 2010 or one of our 2011 Challenges.

Third team

Each member of the team with second highest number of points in each league table as at the Fundraising Deadline, Friday 30th July 2010 will be offered a 25% discount on the full published entry fee onto the Caledonian 100 event in October 2010, or one of our 2011 Challenges.

League with the highest average score

Each member of a team in the league with the highest average number of points as at the Fundraising Deadline, Friday 30th July 2010  will be offered a £25 discount on the full published entry fee onto the Caledonian 100 event in October 2010, or one of our 2011 Challenges.

Terms and Conditions

  • The results of these competitions will be published on this website and the winners informed by email by 6th August 2010
  • Thie prize of discounted entry applies to each confirmed member of the team (participants and support crew members)
  • Each prize of a discounted entry must be claimed by 15 December 2010, with the whole of the new team having completed its entry onto the 2011 event by this date.
  • Each prize must be claimed by quoting the relevant discount code when completing the entry form.
  • the prize of discounted entry is transferable to one friend or colleague
  • Members of teams may be entered into multiple competitions (leagues) but winners may claim one prize only.
  • The offer may not be used in conjunction with other discounts or offers.
  • The prize is exactly as stated. No cash alternatives.
