Sole Mates Team Finder

As a result of feedback we have received from past participants and also from potential participants who have not been able to take part in the Caledonian Challenge we have set up this new service - SOLE MATES.

In past years many potential participants have been unable to take part because they havent been able to recruit a team or existing team members have pulled out at the last minute. We are hoping that Soles Mates will be used as a potential recruitment zone for new teams to join together and take part in this year's Caledonain Challenge.

I'm very interested in taking part in the Challenge but as I work for myself, I do not have access to a large number of people to form a team. I'm 65 years old but have completed 15 marathons, including the Midnight Sun Marathon on Baffin Island, which involves a double marathon and twice completed the Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii. I continue to work out regularly and feel confident that I could finish the Challenge and wouldn't let anyone down.

I would like to take part in the 2012 Caledonian Challenge but cannot convince friends and/or family that it is a good idea! I am 56 years old (57 in March) but did complete the Three Peaks Challenge in less than 24 hours in June 2011. Are there any teams out there looking for an enthusiastic recruit?
