THE 24

Harder than you think. More rewarding than you can imagine.

THE 24 is no walk in the park. It's 24 miles in 12 hours that will test your grit and stamina. It's tough, but it's achievable.

Beautiful Scottish Countryside

Starting in Fort William and finishing in Glencoe, it's 24 miles in just 12 hours. You will receive the same exemplary support as those on THE 54, but you will need to recruit minimum one person (and vehicle) to act as Support Crew to assist you on your journey.

Walk for Charity

As you're walking a shorter route from THE 54, your fundraising commitment is smaller. You, and your team-mates only have to pledge to raise £300 each to take part. Not only will you have lasting memories but you will make a lasting impact to the charity you have chosen to fundraise for. There are now two fundraising options:

Foundation Scotland Teams

Each participant on the THE 24 agrees to raise £300 for Foundation Scotland (registered Scottish charity No. SC022910). Entry fee and fundraising target details can be found via Event Costs. Individuals can sign up and nominate team members via Sign up here.

Third Sector Bond Places

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Caledonian Challenge in 2016, the organisers have opened up its doors to Third Sector organisations of any size, including registered charities, social enterprises or constituted community groups to apply for Bond Places and enter teams to raise funds exclusively and directly for their own causes. More information can be found via Third Sector Bond Places.

"The event was extremely well organised, we felt supported, welcome and cared for on all the official stops by all the staff and volunteers involved (and of course our amazing support crew). Thank you, and everyone, for a fantastically well organised event."
